I have always loved the quality and the style is finally looking more fashionable. I get lots of complements on them and walk in them every day.I think MBT changed its vendor. I have loved their products before buying this shoe. It gave me shin splints and the tongue is too short. It is too big and I have always taken the same size in MBTs. It doesn't feel like the same amount of padding in the ball of the foot area. Am really disappointed as all I have worn for the past few years are MBTs. It isn't the same feel at all as other MBTs.
This Walking Shoe has a lower profile than the original MBTs - which is nice. They can 'pass' for an ordinary shoe. They are very attractive and don't scream 'orthopedic shoe.' Plus they feel great like an MBT does. I would buy this style again.Shoe runs 1/2 size small. Very comfortable, but not as supportive in lateral movement as the Lamy Mary Jane I had before. Material seems a little flimsy. Not as cushiony as Lamy.I think MBT is brilliant but these particular shoes do not have a comfortable inner shaft, bruising your feet on the upper side even through thick socks - only half brilliant.
This is my 3rd or 4th pair of MBT's and I love them. The styling is finally getting better, you no longer look quite so peculiar when walking in them. They run small and are not cushion as regular gym shoes, but they give you a wonderful stretch in the whole leg when you walk and also help improve your posture.I'm a great fan of MBT Shoe and they are always consistent. Pay attention to the recommendation when they say to order a half size larger...works perfectly.
